Cantos 10 to 15 retell the Ramayan in Kalidas's own shorter way, including the flight home from Lanka in the Pushpak. Cantos 16 to 19 follow Kush back to an empty Ayodhya and trace the line down to Agnivarna, whose neglect of his kingdom closes the epic.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRaghuvansh is one of Kalidas's two mahakavyas; the other is Kumarsambhav, also published by Varada.
